Landscape Juice launches industry first legal document service

LEGAL365.COM IMAGE Landscape Juice, the landscape and horticulture industry’s open association of landscape industries, has partnered with LEGAL365.com to launch a new legal document website.

Landscape Juice Legal is a powerful depository of thousands of bespoke legal documents covering everything from landscaping service contracts, terms and conditions through to employment contracts and health and safety policies.

In these difficult trading times, it’s never been more important to safeguard your business by issuing the right paperwork to support your offer of services or products.

The only routes previously open to landscapers and gardeners was to engage a lawyer or join a trade association; both of these options come at considerable cost and does not necessarily provide the right solution.

Q Lawns are bringing a piece of ancient woodland to the show

Bogoak Q Lawns have revealed that their stand design at the Creating Landscapes Show will include a small landscape feature using bogoak, aka Jurassic Bark.

Bogoak is the somewhat unromantic name for native timber that has been preserved in the ground for several thousand years. Many of the trees whose bits and pieces will be on the Q Lawns’ stand were growing about 400 years before Stonehenge was built.

Each piece of Bogoak is entirely unique and not only does it make wonderful design features, especially if combined with planting and lighting, it can be sculpted, carved, made into furniture or just left in its natural state where it will provide shelter for overwintering insects.

Check out the web site at www.englishbogoak.co.uk and be sure to visit Q Lawns stand at Creating Landscapes to see how Maxine Tricker has combined BogOak and planting in a low maintenance garden.

What will the weather be like for Creating Landscapes?

Met-officeWhat will the weather be like for the Creating Landscapes Trade Show later this month?

We are all going to be keeping a keen eye on the weather forecast for Capel Manor and the south east corner of the UK.

Thankfully the Met Office long range forecast for the period between 18 October and 1 November, 2011 has a positive ring to it:

The south and southwest, however may see drier spells, with temperatures nearer to normal. Temperatures should recover into the following week to around normal, with daytime temperatures perhaps just above in the southeast.

And to keep track of the sunny spells you will find in the left hand column of the Creating Landscapes website a Met Office weather widget that offers up a forecast for the coming five days.

Here's hoping it stays fine and dry on 25 and 26 October.
