Blec landscape and turf care join Creating Landscapes

I don't think many landscapers would challenge me if I said that, as far as landscaping machinery is concerned, Blec has very few rivals when it comes to soil preparation, stone removal and grading (not to mention turf care equipment).

I'm delighted to say that Blec Global Ltd have signed up to our Creating Landscapes trade show for October 2011. With still over nine months to go, we've got an impressive list of exhibitors - all of which I think provide something of value and importance for the most important person in the sales process...YOU, the user.

The video was taken at Saltex in September 2010.

Bulldog Tools to exhibit at Creating Landscapes

Bulldog worlds largest spadeThey have been making garden tools for over 230 years...and they are coming to the Creating Landscapes Trade Show.

Wigan based Bulldog Tools have signed up to our 2011 event and they are going to bring the 'worlds largest spade'.

The spade was made to commemorate 230 years of tool manufacture: the factory currently employs 65 people knocking out over 2000 gardening and contracting tools every single day.

The spade, which took 160 man hours to make, weighs in at 180kg and stands 3.610m high: it's been verified as a Guinness world record.

Groundsman Industries sign up to Creating Landscapes

Groundsman 460SDR aerator spikerNorthern Ireland based turf machinery company, Groundsman Industries, has signed up to exhibit at Creating Landscapes at Capel Manor on October 25-26 this 2011.

This is especially pleasing for me because I've got first hand experience with using their kit - which I have to say, is of the highest quality and robustness.

As a qualified greenkeeper, I provided through my company, extensive domestic lawn care and commercial turf maintenance services and when we acquired a the 460SDR aerator, our earning capabilities spiralled.

I'm convinced that commercial turf care equipment suppliers are missing out on a great deal of business in the domestic lawn market and I hope, with Groundsman becoming involved, that this area of the market will start to change. Certainly from a garden maintenance contractor's viewpoint, having a spiking unit in the tool armoury can create many opportunities for extra revenue during the autumn/winter months when general garden dormancy otherwise restricts revenue generating operations.

I spoke to Billy Warke this morning and he said to me: " As you already know, Groundsman Industries specialise in the manufacture of a range professional turf cutters and aerator machines for the sports turf industry but have models which are ideal for landscape and garden use.

"Creating Landscapes seems like the ideal opportunity to introduce these machine to that market and particularly to be able to demonstrate their capabilities."

Groundsman Industries will be bringing their 345HD and 460SDR pedestrian turf aerators as well as their turf multi cutter machine.

Look out for more news in the next few days and if you believe that your company could benefit from getting in front of a growing membership of landscape and garden professionals then please get in touch.
